Different Roads
Before I go any further into my travels on the narrow road, let me explain to you a few other roads I know of and why I have chosen this road. There of course is the narrow road, and it is probably the hardest one to stay on, yet it is also the most rewarding.
There is the wide road which has many "rewards" along the way, yet it always ends up in the valley of death. I won't go into too much description here because it'll be described more as I cross paths with those who are on the wide road.
I believe that those are the 2 main roads, if I run into any others then I'll be sure to let you know.
Now that I have told you the 2 main roads let me warn you to think that these roads aren't always going to look the way that they do now. There are times when your road will be paved, and everything will be going great, going smooth. There are times that you won't even be able to see the road beneath your feet, and the only thing guiding you will be the compass, your map, and the light on the path.
So yeah, I'll get into more detail as my road keeps on going. So until next time, I encourage you all to stop and think about what kind of road you find yourself on. Do you see yourself headed towards the valley of death? Do you feel there is nothing left for you at the end of your road, so have all the fun you can have now? Or do you find yourself, on a journey with a purpose and goal headed towards the sunlight you know that, even in dark times is there?
Find that sunlight!

You've probably read this before.
One night I dreamed I was walking
Along the beach with the Lord.
Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.
Sometimes there were two sets of footprints.
Other times there were one set of footprints.
This bothered me because I noticed that
During the low periods of my life when I was
Suffering from anguish, sorrow, or defeat,
I could see only one set of footprints,
So I said to the Lord, "You promised me,
Lord, that if I followed You,
You would walk with me always.
But I noticed that during the most trying periods
Of my life there have only been
One set of prints in the sand.
Why, When I have needed You most,
You have not been there for me?"
The Lord replied,
"The times when you have seen only one set of footprints
Is when I carried you." -Margaret Fishback Powers
"Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it." Matthew 7:13-14
"You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand." Psalm 16:11
"The mind of a man plans his ways, but the LORD guides his steps." Proverbs 16:9
You're awesome dude, and I really look up to you. Keep pressing into prayer and seeking GOd everyday. Keep blogging, don't use being sick as an excuse! haha, jk.
