Birthday's and Reflection
Hey, well ok so here is what happened today. Birthdays and birthday parties. First off a friend of mine had his birthday party today, he turned 16 on the 10th but he had his party this week, and today was two special people’s birthdays, this guy named Omar, and my brothers. So here’s a shout out to my younger bro, Daniel. HEY YO HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRO! Well I guess rapin’ isn’t my calling in life.
Anyways I think that birthdays are a great chance to stop, and take a look around at our surroundings on the journey of life. I mean think about it, how often do you really pause to look around and see where you are headed? Birthday’s, New Years, Anniversaries and other types of days, give us that chance to pause and look around at where we are in the path of life and make sure we’ve got all our bearings, to know where we really want to go. I think we should all take the time every week, heck even every year to reflect and see where the heck we’ve been on this journey called life and see exactly the places that we’d like to reach in our journey.
Well that’s my reflection for the day; I encourage you all to do the same, whenever you can.
