Me? College? David? What?

Thursday, October 06, 2005
The process has begun.

I am applying for colleges now.

And it is already scaring the living daylights out of me.

Why?

Simple reason; after the recommendation of my cousin Becca, I took the MyApplyTexas Application, and the auto response email went something to this regard:

Please keep a record of your MyApplytexas username and password for future referRemember tha usernames, passwords and electronic identifiersassigned to you by a college or university cannot be used tolog in to ApplyTexas.

Tha? Is that even a word? Yes I know, its supposed to be: The, but come on! This is their auto reply message, less than maybe 8 sentences, and they don’t even both to do a spell-check?

What I find most ironic is their applying to stupidity in that very sentence.

I wonder if I should study abroad...

Truths I'm learning...

Sunday, October 02, 2005
I have learned a few recent truths and I'd like to share them to my generation.

Who ever said life was easy was a liar, or has never gotten out of bed.

Those who complain that life is hard should cry me a river; build a bridge and GET OVER IT.

Life isn't lollipops and gumdrops.

The world says you are special, just like everyone else. God says I'm special, because He created me.

Garbled Epoch will go on a slower pace since my school has finally begun to catch up with me.

Stay tuned though for more entries... hopefully soon.
