They're crying out...

當太陽上升將再度?
誰再度將透露「對」我們「的它?」

Когда солнце повысится снова?
Кто покажет это "к" нам снова?

Quand le soleil s'élèvera encore ?
Qui le révélera nous encore ?

When will the sun rise again?
Who will reveal it "to" us again?

Some simple words. Simple meaning.

I recently went on a movie craze, watching this same movie over and over. Ok, well it was only 3 times I saw it. But the storyline, the acting, the hardcore truths you have to face are captivating. In Hotel Rwanda, the movie I reference, there is a song called: "Million Voices". Where the children of Africa are calling out to whomever will rescue them. Those words at the begining of my post are their cry.

Simple words. Hardcore truth. Your answer?

The crys of the world are all around us.

They want peace
They want security
They want to be heard and above all
They want to live

We can bring that to them, in more ways than one.

ep·och (pk, pk)
n.
  1. A particular period of history, especially one considered remarkable or noteworthy.

We are "The Garbled Epoch". Enough said.

And this is all I can say...

Imagine this with me.

Abuse Facts

2003 Texas

  • Physical abuse: 36,606

  • Sexual abuse: 7,473

  • Abandonment: 420

  • Medical neglect: 2,371

  • Physical neglect: 7,198

  • Neglectful Supervision: 26,398

  • Refusal to accept parental responsibility: 845

  • Emotional abuse: 1067

All of these are kids, old and young. Look at those numbers. That's one year's worth of abuse in Texas alone! Look at what happens in our own nation!

"In 2001, about 3,844,000 children were reported as possible victims of child abuse and neglect in the United States."

"4 children die from child abuse every day in the US."

"13,700 children are abused and neglected every day in the US."

You want truth? There is some harsh realities right there. When I was on YIM tour (Youth In Ministry Tour) recently, we had the opportunity to perform in some amazing places. Places where kids can come to a refuge and escape being another abuse or neglect statistic. I heard stories that made me cry, and stories that made me want to literally throw up. It was sickening and saddening and yet, rewarding at the exact same time. Rewarding in the sense that, they were happy where they were at. That those people, don't have to go home everyday to that pill pushing mother, or alcoholic father.
Yet there are still more out there. My generation. My generation is still hurting. My generation has seen more, done more, and survived more than any other generation ever known. We have been dealt more crap than any other generation and we have a choice. Do we use this as our excuse to continue the crap? Do we continue wallowing in the crap that is dealt to us? Or do we stand up, clean ourselves off, and move towards healing? I met many people on that trip, that could've just given up. But their strength they showed was amazing. They are making our generation, truely a revoultionary generation.
I don't know much more to say, so I hope the rest of you will take my little story where I left off, I know one more person who feels the way I'm feeling. Who else feels this way? That it's time WE took a stand for our generation? Stood in the gap for them and gave them something all men should have? Hope?

Dear God,
I once prayed a dangerous prayer, that I would be used by you, and that you would break my heart with the things that breaks yours. And you are making this prayer a part of me. So now I add this to my prayer, allow me Lord, to stand in the gap for my genereation, I pray that healing would be brought to the "Land of the Free". I pray that people would realize how trapped they really are, and that you begin to move upon this nation and bring it back to it's roots in you.

The Book.

Saturday, June 11, 2005
Ok, it's official. I'm going to write a book. First off I love writing, which is a plus. I also love thinking, and since both are required when it comes to writing a book, I'm game.

The next question is on what should I write? This is where you're input would be appriciated.
If I was to write a book, what subject would you most likely read?

1. America at War

This would be a historical focus on the unique values that our country was founded upo, where we have been during the previous 2 centuries, and where it appears that we are going as a nation

2. America Overthrown

This would be a fictional book about what would happen to the world if America were to collapse.

3. Foundations

This would be a historical focus on Religions and how they have been foundations for nations throughout the centuries. I would probably focus on Islam, Christianity, Hinduism and all the other major religions to show how they have influenced the countries they've been in.

4. (Title subject to change) Wanderer

This would be a fictional story of a guy who just randomly appears in small towns and stirs up the community with his curious ways. Basically it would be about a guy who walks with God like Enoch did, and God would literally take this man and place him where He needed His work done.

Tell me what ya'll think.
